THE ORGANIZATION |
|
|
The Chanslor Wetlands Project is administered by Chanslor Wildlife, LLC with oversight from the Sonoma Coast Environmental Council. The Chanslor Wetlands Project has no employees and only contracts with qualified consultants (as independent contractors), environmental organizations and accredited educational institutions to complete specific research and conservation projects. The Chanslor Wetlands Project also provides a unique venue for qualified (and insured) individuals and organizations to conduct programs and activities in support of environmental education. These activities include tour programs, grant funded research programs, joint fund raising events (where the Wetlands Project is a participant and co-beneficiary) and recreation, such as camping at the Chanslor Wetlands (where the objective is to educate the public regarding the importance of preserving wetlands habitat). |
